Nevesbu and PT Len Industri (Persero) sign MoU
Nevesbu is proud to have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Len Industri (Persero) for knowledge development. With this MoU, Nevesbu and PT Len Industri (Persero) are entering into a long-term partnership for the platform systems integration of mission systems on naval vessels of the Indonesian navy for modifications and newbuild programs.
Albert Jurgens, Commercial Director at Nevesbu, says: “Nevesbu has 89 years of highly specialised knowledge and experience with submarines and naval vessels. We are proud that, by sharing our knowledge and experience, we can further strengthen our cooperation with PT Len Industri (Persero).”
By sharing its specialist knowledge in platform systems integration, Nevesbu makes an important contribution to ensuring that the Indonesian fleet remains one of the most advanced in the region. Nevesbu and PT Len Industri (Persero) already successfully collaborated on the modernisation of the KRI Usman Harun frigate. All mission systems on this ship are being replaced with modern, advanced systems, almost all supplied by Thales-NL. Nevesbu carried out the complex systems integration engineering work and is involved from the initial designs through to delivery.
