Help design the most unique ships and offshore concepts
As a Maritime Technology intern at Nevesbu – part of Iv– you’ll dive straight into the world of technically complex and multidisciplinary maritime projects. From submarines and frigates to floating offshore platforms – no design is ever standard. You’ll contribute to the development of innovative mechanical systems on board naval vessels, offshore units and specialised ships.
You’ll work on large international projects as well as smaller, in-depth technical challenges. You’ll collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, such as mechanical, structural and naval architecture, and receive guidance from seasoned specialists with extensive experience in shipbuilding and offshore engineering.
Nevesbu is a naval architecture and marine engineering firm operating in the fields of submarines, naval vessels, floating offshore energy, and special projects. We provide consultancy and engineering across all project phases – from feasibility studies to yard support. Examples include supporting the upkeep of the Dutch Walrus-class submarines, extending the service life of Malaysian frigates, or designing a floating transformer platform for offshore wind energy.

Job Requirements
• You are currently studying Maritime Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Structural Engineering at a university of applied sciences (HBO) or a research university (WO);
• You have a strong interest in the maritime world and are curious about the technology behind ships and offshore structures;
• You thrive on technical challenges and enjoy diving deep into complex subject matter;
• You think creatively and critically, and aren’t afraid to explore unconventional solutions;
• You are proactive and curious about new technologies and applications.
