June 2011 - Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) 2011 will be held in London from 7 to 9 June 2011. Jan Wilgenhof of Nevesbu will present a conference paper on the "Performance of the Main Ballast Tank Blowing System". He will attend the event together with J.J. Conesa Giménez and J. García Peláez of Navantia.
Nevesbu presents on NAFEMS World Congress
March 2011 - Jack Reijmers of Nevesbu b.v. will present his paper entiteled "Failure of composite pressure hulls" at the NAFEMS World Congress in Boston, USA, on 25 May 2011. The congress will be held 23-26 May 2011 and is the premier international gathering on simulation technology for the engineering analysis community.
Nevesbu participates in EASIT2 project
March 2011 - EASIT2, an acronym for Engineering Analysis and Simulation Innovation Transfer, is an international project sponsored by the EU. Nevesbu b.v. is participating in the project to set out the knowledge and skills needed by a competent structural engineer. The objectives are to define the skills and then develop ways of imparting them to the participating members of the engineering community.
Nevesbu conducts feasibility study for biggest sailing yacht
January 2011 - Nevesbu will conduct a feasibility study for the conceptual design of a 141-metre sailing yacht. Contracts were concluded with Dream Ship Victory and Dykstra & Partners of Amsterdam for the naval architectural design and with Ken Freivokh Design for the design and styling of the 'Dream Symphony'. The contracts were signed on 23 September at the Monaco Yacht Show 2010.
